A Midsummer Nights Dream

After reading A Midsummer Night's Dream,  i find it very ironic that Theseus and Hippolyta would ever even think about getting married. He acts like she isn't even there half of the movie. Also, at the end of the movie, when Hermia and Lysander are watching a play and laughing at it, even though they have a bunch of similarities.

Sweeney Todd

Sweeney Todd is a great dark comedy, that was made into a movie in 2007 which stars Johnny Depp. Personally, i like most of the movies that Depp stars in, and this one wasn't any different. The movie was pretty good, and i like the action and suspense that they created with the music. Although, sometimes the music was kind of confusing and out of place, it was still a very good, very dark comedy.

Arsenic and Old Lace

After reading Arsenic and Old Lace, i have come to the conclusion that it was the most irony-filled story i have ever read. Every character in the story thinks that the two old ladies are completely sane, but in reality, they are two of the most insane women in the play. Every single scene from the play has some type of irony in it, and is filled with dark comedy.
