Arsenic and Old Lace

After reading Arsenic and Old Lace, i have come to the conclusion that it was the most irony-filled story i have ever read. Every character in the story thinks that the two old ladies are completely sane, but in reality, they are two of the most insane women in the play. Every single scene from the play has some type of irony in it, and is filled with dark comedy.

  1. I agree, Arsenic and Old Lace did contain lots of irony but I thought it was AWSOME! The two old ladies were very funny and played a good role. Killing who ever they thought was living a miserable life. Now that is hilarious for two elderly women to be doing such a thing to people. They didn't think it was wrong to poison their victim so that makes them very insane to not have the logic that killing is against the law(unless your killing time of course).
